Meet the Metrognomes!
The Metrognomes are intu Metrocentre’s very own cuddly gnome characters Herbert, Sherbet, Maggot and Rusty - and Rusty's pet Metroshoposaurus, who live and work here at the Centre. The Metrognomes entertain children (and parents!) on the malls with free shows and activities during school holidays.

Metrognomes May Half Term
The Metrognomes have started entertaining each other! Herbert has learnt to play the violin, Sherbet wants to sing, and of course Maggot has been perfecting the sailors' hornpipe - wow! He's so nimble on his toes.
And guess who wants to be a stand-up comic? Rusty of course. Ha, ha they all laugh at they thought of his jokes, even before he starts!
They have such fun parading about in front of each other that they suddenly realise that loads of their friends have got talent too, and might like to join in - and so ......Gnomefactor is born!
The Metrognomes friends are being invited to come and audition for the summer show - its going to be bursting with talent, its going to be the most entertaining show yet.
